Week at a Glance- Sept. 4 to Sept. 8
Hello Storrington Stingers,
We want to welcome our Storrington Stingers back to a new school year! Our Storrington custodial staff have worked hard all summer cleaning the school and preparing it for a safe and healthy entry for our students. First Day Entry Routine
When students arrive to school on Tuesday, September 5, staff will be on the yard to let students know which class they’re in. Students will be directed to their classroom zone, where they will line up and wait for the bell to ring. Each classroom zone, will have a sign with the grade and teacher’s name.
School Agenda and Start-Up Forms
During the first couple weeks of school, there are usually lots of forms that are sent home. We ask that these forms are reviewed and returned (if necessary) as soon as possible. As well, some classes use agendas as a form of communication between home and school. Please use this as a tool for communication with the school and classroom teacher. We ask that all students bring in $5.00 to cover the costs of the agenda.
Storrington Spirit Assembly
On Wednesday, September 6, we will be holding our first Storrington Spirit and Recognition Assembly of the 2023-2024 school year. This is an opportunity for our Stingers to come together to read a great book, recognize some amazing students, sing a song, dance and show our Stinger spirit. Every month, we will take the time to come together to show our Stinger pride and recognize all the amazing things that are happening at Storrington.
Storrington Stinger Spirit Days
Every Thursday, we encourage our Storrington Stingers to wear their school spirit wear or school colours. Let’s show our Stinger pride and all dress up in our black, yellow and white school colours!
